Like many others, I'm sure I grew up watching and reading about Anne Shirley. I have been shaped by her fiery personality, her vivid imagination, her love story with Gilbert Blythe, her friendship with Diana Barry, and her many mishaps and adventures. I love Anne Shirley like I love a friend (a bosom friend, you might even say?) and sometimes, I really just wish I lived on Prince Edward Island.
Side Note: I met a boy once whose parents lived on P.E.I and I was very, VERY tempted to throw myself at him in pursuit of a relationship--and hopefully an eventual trip to meet the in-laws. On P.E.I. My priorities are obviously very much in tact.
This blog is about my life. I just hope to handle it with as much poise and good humor as Anne.
