So I have this weird quirk where I find a song and that is THE ONLY SONG I LISTEN TO for an entire week. Nonstop. It's stuck in my head, I play it in between my breaks, I try to sneak listening to it during class, etc.
This song gets me up in the morning. It makes me pumped on the way to class. It pushes me during my workout. It keeps me focused on my homework. It gets me through my week.
I have a mega love affair with that song.
I try to find other songs like that song. I try to find artists similar to that artist. But literally nothing compares to that song.
And then the week ends and I have listened to that song so much that it's lost its luster and I just feel kind of lost and hopeless, convinced that I will never find another song as good as that one was.
It is a really strange cycle.
In case you were wondering, here is my song of the week:

THIS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Ok that might be a little optimistic.
But it could change your next 48 hours--for the better of course. And wouldn't that be nice? It certainly was for me.
Now lets cut to the chase. The Børns have only written 4 songs and I have listened to/hummed/had them happily stuck in my brain all weekend long. So if you want to be blissfully happy on your way to work or feel ultra-super pumped to get stuff done or just feel like like is pretty great, I suggest you listen to this song:
And literally every other song by this artist. I mean, they only have four songs so it's really not that much.
